The Story
A training session with Clément on the track in Antibes, under the walls of Fort Carré. Two halves to the shoot: the laps themselves, blurred at full speed, and the quiet minutes after — water, breath, and the heat of a June day on the Riviera.
The Laps
We shot the running with a slow shutter, panning alongside so the track and the fence stay readable while Clément turns into motion. Some frames in colour, some in black and white — the same lap, two moods.
After
The part most shoots miss. Water over the head, a long drink, eyes down on the grass. The effort is still there on the skin — that's where the portraits are.
